Salt River Pima Maricopa Indian Community Tribal Court searched for a state-of-the-art case management technology to grow with their agency. After test driving many systems, Salt River selected JustWare | Court to replace their outdated Evans Caseload System.
A team of decision makers was established to evaluate and score a number of different case management systems. After testing many different systems and scoring them according to Salt River’s needs, it was clear that the solution was JustWare | Court.
Prior to implementing JustWare, the process in which clerks entered cases in the old Evans system was difficult and inconsistent; with JustWare, clerks are able to enter information once and by using JustWare’s powerful document automation tool, generate the needed document containing all required information. This process eliminates manual document creation time, establishes a uniform document outline, and streamlines the clerk’s workflow.
Case statistics are also tracked with JustWare’s easy-to-use report features. Salt River now tracks the number of cases in each division to analyze workload and case distribution, in addition to the many other reports run daily by court administrators.
“We can run reports about case statistics that we weren’t able to do before; we can create documents that are pre-populated with case specific data—so clerks don’t have to do it manually,” says Shazia Razvi, development manager at Salt River.
