The Mohave County Attorneys, Public Defender, and Legal Defender Office canvassed the market to find a case management software provider that offered focused solution for prosecutors, public and legal defenders. After a thorough evaluation, JustWare was implemented.Challenge
The Mohave County Attorneys, Public Defender, and Legal Defender Office utilized an access-developed application called CMPLUS. Due to the large volume of users and the lack of customer support, an exhaustive search was conducted for a replacement solution. Increased system downtime of CMPLUS by one of the agencies made the situation urgent and required that Mohave Count expedite their search and implementation.
Solution
In order to utilize the five years of data that was in the CMPLUS system, New Dawn Technologies completed a data conversion that allowed for a quick, easy transfer to JustWare Prosecutor and Defender solutions.
Results
Each agency is running JustWare on SQL Server 2000 servers. A total of 79 users are accessing the data without the increased system downtime.
