“Just simply being able to look at a case at a glance and accessing information without having to pull the actual file was a big plus for me. The biggest benefit for our office is generating documents which has saved us a lot of time and frustration.”Theresa Fano

The Washington County Attorney’s Office had no functioning case management solution before selecting JustWare | Prosecutor. The County had access to a case management solution provided by the State of Utah. However, the County never fully implemented the system. Without a functioning case management system, the County was struggling to keep up with their increasing case load. They were also utilizing many complex documents and their staff spent many hours creating documents manually from templates.
Washington County Attorney’s Office selected JustWare in late 2003 and went live on March 2, 2004. The central name database immediately helped the County organize their cases more effectively. Washington County also wanted to take advantage of the document automation capability incorporated in JustWare, but did not have the resources to automate their own documents. Therefore, the County elected to have New Dawn staff write all their automated document templates in JustWare Document Automation. They also use BriefLink to locate JustWare cases and cases stored in other systems with only limited information.
Since March 2004, Washington County Attorney’s Office has been successfully utilizing JustWare | Prosecutor of case management and document automation to efficiently process their ever-growing caseload.
